Subject: considering providing portage
Date: Wed, 08 Sep 2004 16:00:44 -0700
Hello,

I'm the current operator for ftp.ucsb.edu and I'm interested in
providing rsync access generally, and also for gentoo-portage. I'm not
sure if I'm ready to provide those official and to the world yet, but
I'm curious about the size of the portage tree and how much bandwidth I
might expect to be used if I were to provide general access for portage.
Thanks!
