Sounds to me that people experiencing these rsync 'opendir' errors are running |

their local rsync server with a uid/gid different to the owner of the files in |
22 |
releases/*/2006.1 directory. Since only the owner has read access, the rsync |
23 |
daemon, which probably runs as nobody/nobody will not be able to read the |
24 |
files. Once the group and other permissions change on |
25 |
masterdistfiles.gentoo.org the problem should go away. |
