14 Besides the points allready brought up, I'd like to argue that I would
15 want to think twice before adopting a system that would favour one
16 developer over another for attending conferences. I'd prefer a system
17 where a certain percentage of everyone's fees is payed than a system
18 where only "leads" or "poor students" or some other category of devs get
19 refunded more. I think criteria should be objective and not work in such
20 a way that all developers are more equally able to attend. This of course
21 doesn't mean that one should pay for America based devs to attend fosdem
22 or for European devs to attend LWE (the us one) more than one would pay a
23 local dev.
