Besides the points allready brought up, I'd like to argue that I would |

want to think twice before adopting a system that would favour one |
16 |
developer over another for attending conferences. I'd prefer a system |
17 |
where a certain percentage of everyone's fees is payed than a system |
18 |
where only "leads" or "poor students" or some other category of devs get |
19 |
refunded more. I think criteria should be objective and not work in such |
20 |
a way that all developers are more equally able to attend. This of course |
21 |
doesn't mean that one should pay for America based devs to attend fosdem |
22 |
or for European devs to attend LWE (the us one) more than one would pay a |
23 |
local dev. |
