Go ahead and write something up and we'll get it run through PR
tomorrow. We'll want something on the announce lists, front page,
forums, etc. to point to the thread here.
One thing that I think most people forget is that anybody can nominate
someone. You don't need to be a developer. I do recommend that we
setup a page under the Foundation web space for the election *prior* to
the announcements being sent out just so we can link to it and people
can see it get updated as things happen. I think that it'll give people
some confidence in the process if they can see it happening in front of
them.
We should also be explicit about what requirements there are for being
eligible to be a trustee, and possibly provide that list if it requires
someone having been a developer for some period of time.
