36 I think that if we ever do get to the point of sponsorship it should be
37 to events where a larger portion of Gentoo as a whole can see benefit,
38 e.g. multiple devs going to the event or the event being specifically
39 targeted at Gentoo.

41 Going forward we should consider making a list of "sanctioned" events
42 once we have the capital to provide for sponsorship. Doing this will
43 allow us to make sure that we do not over extend ourselves financially
44 and provide a level playing field for the greater dev community.
