Hi Deedra,

The Foundation lawyers are already late, so I can't continue to wait
for them. There simply isn't enough time for the inevitable
back-and-forth to iron out any issues with this agreement they're
working on.

And note that in order to get this through quickly, I'm totally giving
up my right to any kind of license of the gentoo marks.

Filing these papers is a very effective way to transfer
copyright/trademarks to the Foundation.

For the transfer of copyright, we will use similar language as to what
was included in g2boojum's agreement, and include a files.txt file
listing. The agreement will apply to any copyrights already
transferred to Gentoo Technologies, Inc. Basically the agreement will
say that any title and interest that Gentoo Technologies, Inc. may
have in the cvs tree is now owned by the Foundation. That's the basic
legalese of it, anyway. It will be a very clean transfer.

I seem to have some assurance from trustees that my
drobbins@g.o alias (currently and likely forever being
forwarded to a gmail account) will remain active for as long as I want
it. I also ask that you keep store.gentoo.org and the store@g.o
alias going through mid-June for customer-service reasons (though
please unlink it from the main site on May 23rd).

So I'm going to transfer everything over to the Foundation. I hope
that's OK. Sorry for the rush :/

Sincerely,

Daniel
