Yeah, I'm pretty much finished with the base-system packages, so a |

traditional prefixed stage{1,3} can take the place of haubis stage0/ |

toolsbox stuff. Of course you still need to bootstrap manually if you |

want a different default prefix than whatever the stage builders |

used. For Darwin/OS X, I'm leaning towards using /Library/Portage as |

the default prefix, not sure about what would be preferable for other |

systems. /opt might be a good choice, but for reasons I can't really |

clarify yet, a unique namespace seems better suited...but I digress. |
