8 This is really a great dream. This would allow one to use the stuff
9 provided by the system as long as sufficient, and also would allow the
10 Gentoo distribution to support user installs of packages in a way I

15 I absolutely like the modular and generic approach of the idea. I guess
16 it's up to the portage guys to see how far this can be implemented and
17 activated. It makes no use to have the function if it will never do
18 anything else but echoing the ${PREFIX} var.
