1 Hi,
2 in the description of several commands (e.g., "has_version" and
3 "best_version") I find the following sentence:

6 | Ebuilds must not run any of these commands once the current phase
7 | function has returned.

10 Can somebody please enlighten me what is meant by this? (The only
11 explanation I could think of is that the ebuild should not background
12 the command, but that seems very far-fetched. ;-)
