3 You are right, due to all the errors I had, I always used the -p option to
4 test it and to avoid emerges operations crashing. I tried dozens of times
5 always ending in emerge failing which I don't like since I would think it
6 leaves some mess after running then. The -p option also gives some info in
7 red, but it is not an error message like the "blocks" message (also in
8 red)...

10 While I was quite proud of myself after installing Gentoo on alpha, now I
11 feel like a total idiot :-s
