KDE 3.3.0 has been marked stable on ppc at the moment, but at least one
dependency has not <http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62346> and kdeedu
doesn't compile <http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62459>. There is some
ill feeling about this issue on the gentoo-dev list.

As someone who is not a Gentoo dev, I have two questions:

1) Is there going to be a concerted push to stabilise KDE 3.3.0 on ppc, i.e.
within the next week, or will stable ppc be downgraded to KDE 3.2.3?

2) It looks like the problem is not that the bugs haven't been reported, but
that the devs haven't had time to deal with them. Is there anything regular
users can do to help ppc-devs out with this issue?

cheers,

John
