I discovered that the problem with getting glade-1.1.1 to build was |
2 |
"-gnome" in my USE flags. I got glade to build by removing -gnome, but |
3 |
glade doesn't seem to function properly. I can elaborate if needed. Once |
4 |
I got glade to build, I went on to attempt anjuta-0.9.99, but I ran into |
5 |
a dependency problem. Here is the output from the failed configure: |
6 |
|
7 |
checking for gnome-vfs-config... no |
8 |
configure: error: Couldn't find gnome-vfs-config |
9 |
|
10 |
!!! ERROR: The ebuild did not complete successfully. |
11 |
!!! Function econf, Line 9, Exitcode 1 |
12 |
!!! econf failed |
13 |

The other required libraries (which are currently masked for ppc), gtkmm |
15 |
and glademm, both compiled fine on my gentoo 1.4_rc1 install. I will |
16 |
attempt to install gnome-vfs-config and see if I can get anjuta compiled |
17 |
and tested on ppc. |
