Currently mac-fdisk is default on Apple/IBM and parted is the default on Pegasos. I don't see any reason to use parted for all arches as parted-1.6.8-r1 which is on 2004.1 seems to support all required filesystems. It would also make it easier to maintain the handbook since we wouldn't need two separate sections, and there are some nice GUI:s for it as well. Pieter, any comments? ;) //David Holm -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAiOs8xVDe1wIoqX0RAqYPAJ9qvBuDuqPhOCKOxoeOh8TjmWRXMQCbBp7o akkt6tKGfBxDPGSLdru+cCI= =sfgT -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- gentoo-ppc-dev@g.o mailing list
