I'd like someway to look at my system and check which packages i have as |

'stable' and which as 'unstable', so i can troubleshoot better; and now when |

i emerge world, i don't know which ones can be trouble... |

it's a great feature, but needs a little more work; since i can't dedicate a |

system just to try other people's software i'm doing it on my main system... |

a bit scary. if id doesn't work i might be forced to return to 'stable', and |

just emerge manually some packages that i specifically want to try (like i |

did with Quanta and kDevelop as soon as i understood how to do it). |
