GMANE provides an alternative service for most mailing lists. c.f. bug 424647
I think Pieter must be thoroughly testing out my fixed Mozilla build :-)
If anyone wants to apply the fix themselves, it's really easy: in the
latest mozilla ebuild, find the line that contains "mozilla-`uname
-m`-pc-linux-gnu.tar.gz" (it's almost exactly halfway through, in the
src_install function). Change this to
"mozilla-powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu.tar.gz". Worked for me.
