GMANE provides an alternative service for most mailing lists. c.f. bug 424647
I just commited portage-rescue-2.0.9-ppc.tbz2 to CVS, it should be
hitting the rsync mirrors soon.
When in need of portage-rescue, it can be found in
/usr/portage/sys-apps/portage/files. Don't use the non-PPC one, it's for
x86 and includes some binaries.
