Hi,
the reason that pegasos-dev-sources is marked stable is because it is the only
kernel that fully supports the Pegasos at this time. gentoo-dev-sources has
partial support for it, but lacks the necessary drivers for the builtin
gigabit controller and an ugly bug-fix for the UHCI USB controller.
I'm about to upload -r2 which contains a couple of bug- and security fixes as
well as a couple of updated patches, hopefully that kernel will not have the
bug you have encountered.
