Firewire works fine for me (external FW harddrive). Your problems might be |

related to the iPod, as there's still no true support for it on Linux. |

However you might try your luck by installing the latest rsync of benh's |

powermac kernel, as he always includes the latest and greatest in FW |

drivers... |
