After further testing it would appear to be a bug with XMMS. I used the |

same audio stream for both XMMS and mpg123 and only XMMS has issues when |

the cpu steps down. |

I tested this on an iBook2 500mhz, which steps down to 400mhz and |

an iBook2 800mhz which steps down to 400mhz. Both had the issue reported |

with XMMS, but not mpg123. |
