GMANE provides an alternative service for most mailing lists. c.f. bug 424647
observations regarding the newest ISO build CD (1.1a, May 6,2002):
* the colored prompt after chrooting in is there!
* there was no /proc this time around.
why not?
* there is no /etc/make.profile/make.defaults file
as stated in the /etc/make.conf file. so people
have to specify make.conf USE variables manually,
with no defaults.
is there some change in the make.conf structure that
i'm not aware of?
* no cvs
* the eth0 driver has a problem (i can't remember the error,
but it said something--i think--about something not being able to
be deleted?)
the old (April 23?) ISO does work though.
* rsync: error while loading shared libraries: libpopt.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
