Well said!  It is good to see other people who are not so easily 
distracted by smoke and mirrors.  It seems to me that the more people 
use linux and other open source tools, the less the OSS-using population 
as a whole remembers or even is aware of it's reason for being.  IMHO, 
http://www.fsf.org/philosophy/philosophy.html should be required reading 
for anyone who agrees to the GPL.

Not because I'm better than you because I use linux, but because I'm 
bettered by its use, as are you.
