As long as you don't have an nVidia chipset in that laptop for graphics you should have better luck with X than I did with my "PowerTower" :). |

I am still very pleased with Gentoo PPC... it was a breeze to install but you need broadband IMO |

to put up with the bootstrap process if you want to start from the most barebones setup. |
