I am installing Gentoo ppc on my Ti G4 PowerBook. I used xorgconfig to |

A couple of you have graciously shared your XConfig files, also. They |

match the xorg.conf fairly well. |

When I try to run "startx", I receive this error: |

(EE) R128(0): Cannot read V_BIOS (5) |

My PowerBook was made around 2001. It has the ATI Rage Mobility 128 |

video card. I entered the information in the xorg.conf file in |

accordance with the info on th X.wiki. |

I couldn't find anything about this in the FAQs. |
