Subject: [gentoo-ppc-user] getting xawtv to work with planb

I have PlanB support for the video inputs on my PM 7500 compiled into the
kernel. The /dev/v4l/video0 device is created by devfs. When I try to run xawtv,
I get this:

linuxmac root # xawtv
This is xawtv-3.86, running on Linux/ppc (2.4.20-ppc-r3)
Warning: Cannot allocate colormap entry for "lightgray"
switching visual (0x32)
ioctl: VIDIOCSCHAN(channel=0;name="Composite";tuners=0;flags=0x0
[];type=CAMERA;norm=3): Invalid argument
Warning: Cannot convert string "-*-ledfixed-medium-r-*--39-*-*-*-c-*-*-*" to
type FontStruct
X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 146 (GLX)
Minor opcode of failed request: 5 (X_GLXMakeCurrent)
Serial number of failed request: 279
Current serial number in output stream: 279

A window pops up and immediately disappears. Has anyone got this working?
