openoffice-ximian is based on a newer source tree than openoffice. In my |

opinion it is nicer to work with, updated GUI etc. openoffice-ximian-bin |

is based on an RPM and is only available for x86. If you want |

openoffice-ximian without the hassle of compiling it (takes a while), |

just grab it from my webpage like David Bélanger suggested. |
