I have been using dev-java/ibm-jdk (1.4.1 is the current version), |

which I find much better in terms of performance and stability than |

the Blackdown variety. I did not have any problem in installing it |

either, except for the JIT compiler that requires some configuration. |

In all, I am quite happy with it and I do recommend it. |

The only downside is the absence of a Mozilla plugin, so you will have |
