[gentoo-ppc-user] powerbook G4 X11 problems

hi!

i've emerge xorg-x11-6.7.0 on a freshly installed gentoo system with a
2.6.7 kernel.
it emerged fine but when i start X, the display just stays blank until i
kill the server.

i don't see anything in the Xorg.log file which would give me a hint
about what could be wrong. (just a couple of font render warnings).

i also tried the kernel from the livecd and even the xfree-4.3.0-r6
ebuild with the same result.

attached is the Xorg.log file. (the last three lines are logged after i
send the server a TERM signal)

has anybody some ideas?
