I have a problem to boot on IBM pSeries 610, right now the kernel stops |

while loading the IDE controller driver. |

I tried with the install-ppc64-pSeries-minimal-2004.1.iso image so far |

if I try to boot from the openfirmware prompt it loads yaboot but for |
| 6 |
some reason It cannot read the yaboot.conf file. |

If I hit F1 and select the cdrom as an install device then it boots but |
| 8 |
fails at the ide recognition step. |
| 9 |
I tried using the option to not recognize the hardware but it still |
| 10 |
freezes at that point |
