[gentooppc-user] yaboot.conf script

Hi,

I installed successfully -- a big accomplishment for me! -- but yaboot does
not work properly. I get the startup prompt, choose l for linux, and then
get the screen for the kernel option. I have only one kernel option, and
when I select it, the machine goes into open firmware. I've tried a few
yaboot configurations (running ybin afterwords), but I can't get it right.

Could someone share a good, simple yaboot.conf script? I'm not installing
any other OS. Just Linux. Nothing fancy. 

Also, an even more basic question: where is the kernel image installed? Is
it in the boot partition or /boot ? That might help me get yaboot configured
properly.

P.S. For those that were interested in my ethernet connection problem
(thanks), I hooked up to a different connection, and everything went well.
