4 Boot from the LiveCD (or any other Linux where the partition to convert
5 is not mounted by default). Run 'tune2fs -O ^has_journal /dev/xxxx'
6 where xxxx is the partition to convert. Then mount the partition and
7 delete the /.journal. Although, I think it may be safe to delete this
8 file once you get back into Gentoo.
