Hello, All:
I'm still not able to get virtual consoles to work. I verified that...
* /etc/inittab is configured for VC's,
It is: It is configured to create 6 VC's using /sbin/agetty.
* /sbin/agetty exists,
* /dev/tty# device files exist.
They do: They're all links to /dev/vc/## character device files.
/proc/tty/drivers contains relatively few lines (compared to my RH system)
but it's there.
What could be causing VC's to not work?
