Recently, whenever I type
emerge  anything

I get the following:

!!!  Your current profile is deprecated and not supported anymore,
!!!  Please upgrade to the following profile if possible:
            default-ppc-2004.1

How do I do this?
I searched the forums and I saw some discussions of this but nothing
clear enough to solve my problem.
