3 gmp is a dependancy of php (the first one in fact). I just built gmp ok on my
4 machine, it sounds like something may be missing in your setup possibly.
5 Make sure you have an /etc/make.conf file and that CHOST is set properly in
6 there, it sounds like this may be the problem. It should be "
7 powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu".
