Subject: Problem booting Old World
Date: Sun, 27 Jul 2003 13:08:09 -0500
I have Gentoo's LiveCD 1.4-r6. I am trying to boot the installer using
BootX. I copied the vmlinux CDs to a Linux kernel folder on my OS 9
partition. When I boot up BootX, I choose the kernel and the initrd
from the LiveCD.

The kernel boots seemingly perfectly until I start getting messages
like the one below:

EXT2-FS error )device Ramdisk (1,0):ext2_read_inode:unable to read
inodeblock
Kernel Panic: No init found

What am I missing here?

Thanks,

Ben Ricker
