I looked at my OLD Power Mac MT (mobo fabbed in 1997) and it HAS a dead battery. It resets to Jan 1, 1970 every reboot. Basic point: I do not think it will &quot;keep time&quot; if the batter is dead.<br><br>Anyway, glad you have it fixed!
<br><br>Au revoir,<br><br>Ben Ricker<br><br><div><span class="gmail_quote">On 2/14/06, <b class="gmail_sendername">Y-Lan Boureau</b> &lt;<a href="mailto:blauenote@...">blauenote@...</a>&gt; wrote:</span><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="border-left: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; padding-left: 1ex;">
Actually someone just told me that the clock always works even if the battery is dead, so it means nothing that time is passing :-(<br> Hope it's not the case though.<br><br><b><i>Y-Lan Boureau &lt;<a href="mailto:blauenote@..." target="_blank" onclick="return top.js.OpenExtLink(window,event,this)">

<br> <br> Thanks everyone, I'll try tonight as soon as I have my computer in front of me.<br><br> Cheers,<br> <br> Y-Lan<br> <br> </span><blockquote style="border-left: 2px solid rgb(16, 16, 255); margin-left: 5px; padding-left: 5px;">
