Subject: SMP and clock problems
Date: Tue Apr 30 19:26:02 2002
I'm trying to get this working on my dual G4/400 but with no luck. As
long as the kernel is compiled as non-smp everything is right with the
world and it runs great. But when I turn on SMP (and associated options)
the computer hangs on hwclock, waiting for a "clock tick."

I turned on options one at a time to make sure this was where the problem
is occuring and it is. With all the same options and *no* SMP everything
works fine.

Has anyone else run into this or know a solution? I searched the web for
an answer and came up empty.

Thanks,
Steven
