I believe in the kernel sources, if you go under the drivers section, |

de-select the driver for the i8042 Serial Controller. This used to cause me |

to have all sorts of problems like you described on my 800mhz TiBook. |

I can't recall where exactly in menuconfig it is, as I'm rebuilding right |
