Well, let me make a very wild guess: Select the French keymap? See the |

install instructions for Gentoo PPC on www.gentoo.org for details on |

setting the keymap for the console. Also, for XFree, you'll have to |

edit your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file (best is an Xeasyconf generated |

one, which btw also lets you select the keyboard from the start, so you |

won't have to edit the file manually afterwards), and find the line: |
