Well, the darwin kernel is all open source, but in fact I think you can't be |

shure that if you roll out your own patched darwin kernel in osX if it will work. |

That's because the os X that sits on top of the kernel is closed source, so, we |

never know it its using some weird system calls in some special, or if they are |

circunventing some kernel bug or deficiency that if you fix it in a way they're |

not expecting the thing won't work properly... |

I've read some pages about patching the kernel with some recent airport drivers, |

and I did that, but to no avail, I'm now using ben's kernel 2.4.21-r2 wich has |

the airport 0.13d driver, and monitor mode is not available too. |
