1 I dont know if you resolved this & I am speaking up late (just looked at
2 your mail) but from your dmesg, it looks to me like your wireless is fine &
3 the problem is on the WAP side. Is there a mac filter on the WAP? It looks
4 like you are sending or attempting to send an auth request & are getting no
5 response. The first thing that comes to my mind is that there is a mac
6 filter on the WAP & it is ignoring your request. second thought is that
7 your wireless encryption is sending a malformed request.

9 given the dmesg log, it looks like your chip is recognized & you are
10 scanning. You even found a WAP to communicate with.
