GMANE provides an alternative service for most mailing lists. c.f. bug 424647
When I'm running "emerge system", everything works up to the point where it
compiles db-3.2, and when it checks whether the c++ compiler works, it
doesn't. it says:
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C++ compiler cannot
create executables.
this is on a tiBook 500 using the stage1-ppc-1.2.tbz2 tarball. i ch'rooted
in after extracting it into an apropriate partition.
any suggestions, please let me know.
