a kind person on this list told me that
500MB for gentoo's / is too small
so this time
a gave it a 1200MB
and am chroot-ing from debian
1st-stage
and
2nd-stage
seems to have done ok
but
emerge system
gives me the followings

emerge avorting on /user/portage/sys-libs/ncurses/ncurse5.5.2.20020511.ebuild

is this something that often happens to the newbies?
do i have to run again to get more details of the log?
can i emerge system again after the 3rd stage missed something?
(do i have to start from the 1st stage again)
