GMANE provides an alternative service for most mailing lists. c.f. bug 424647
I resolved the problem by deleting all routes, then resetting the
default route with GW=10.0.1.128 & WITHOUT setting default's netmask to
255.255.255.0 as it should be 0.0.0.0, like this:
route del default gw 10.0.1.128 netmask 255.255.255.0
route add default gw 10.0.1.128
Now it works, great!
