Hi Mark,
On a G3 700MHz 256MB, before they modularize,
it took about 9 hours for base system:
3h QT
3h kdelibs
3h kdebase
If you have a faster machine, I would suggest using it to
build packages with distcc and, if necessary, cross-compilers.
