The route I'm choosing to take on package installations is a combo of the |

following comment about the emerge command (I'm obviously a novice at emerge) |

and a discussion on <gentoo-ppc-dev@g.o> with the subject line: |

"[gentoo-ppc-dev] my list of ~ppc-ebuilds that work on my system". |

I need a time efficient means of choosing as complete a set of |

categories/packages as is currently possible, with the added convenience of |
| 8 |
choice from the "emerge -s .", and this seems to provide a good process. |
