1 The route I'm choosing to take on package installations is a combo of the
2 following comment about the emerge command (I'm obviously a novice at emerge)
3 and a discussion on <gentoo-ppc-dev@g.o> with the subject line:
4 "[gentoo-ppc-dev] my list of ~ppc-ebuilds that work on my system".

6 I need a time efficient means of choosing as complete a set of
7 categories/packages as is currently possible, with the added convenience of
8 choice from the "emerge -s .", and this seems to provide a good process.
