Agreed; auto-join isn't difficult, and this is only for such times as the |

individual is logged on to IRC in any case. If they can't be bothered to add |

the channel, why should the project take them seriously? |

It leaves the membership of such a group open to abuse if someone can randomly |

decide they are a member again, and then drift off when any real work needs |

to be done. It's unfair on the rest of the group, and facilitates politicking |

rather than development. |

(I appreciate that people use irssi over screen. I really don't see how it's |

relevant though; set it up so the support group channel is always /joined and |

forget about it. If you have too many windows, close one of the other |
