14 I don't like to enable freedist globally for all packages (and if it's
15 only because I fear that it would invite devs to abuse "freedist" in
16 the same way as they abused "as-is"). So either this should be moved
17 to package.license, or we should create an extra license label that is
18 used exclusively for kernel firmware.

20 freedist is a really bad approximation for the complicated situation
21 anyway. It is known that some of the firmware is not redistributable
22 at all.
