While Java does need all the help it can get. I am a bit surprised at |

someone becoming a developer with little to no contributions. I can |

only find the one contribution, the PR above. I hope I am wrong and |

they have contributed more. |

Not sure what it says to others who want to become developers but must |

prove themselves first with contributions. This has nothing to do with |

me. I know the path to become a developer has not been easy for many. |

think contributions to be part of that process. |

To me some what seems a move out of desperation to bring on someone |

pretty green who has contributed very little. Just because an area, |

Java, is heavily neglected. I hope I am wrong!!! |

Java is not really a trivial area for people just to jump in. I welcome |

any existing developers go update a Java ebuild or two. Form an opinion |

for yourself. |
