Without commenting on this specific issue can I use this as an excuse to |
8 |
remind council candidates that of the 13 people running for council only |
9 |
5 have posted manifestos? While I typically grep the various mailing |
10 |
lists to try to get a feel for each candidate, having somebody actually |
11 |
clearly state their position would be helpful. |

Perhaps we should have a _reopen_nomination option in future elections? |

I'm a bit uncomfortable having to vote for somebody who doesn't even |
15 |
put up a simple statement of what they stand for. I could care less |
16 |
about the format of such a statement - if you just want to post one line |
17 |
and say "I'll do what I think is best - now let me get back to my CVS |
18 |
commits" at least I'll know how they want to be evaluated (CIA, here I |
19 |
come). |
