7 Without commenting on this specific issue can I use this as an excuse to
8 remind council candidates that of the 13 people running for council only
9 5 have posted manifestos? While I typically grep the various mailing
10 lists to try to get a feel for each candidate, having somebody actually
11 clearly state their position would be helpful.

14 I'm a bit uncomfortable having to vote for somebody who doesn't even
15 put up a simple statement of what they stand for. I could care less
16 about the format of such a statement - if you just want to post one line
17 and say "I'll do what I think is best - now let me get back to my CVS
18 commits" at least I'll know how they want to be evaluated (CIA, here I
19 come).
