Hi,

So, since I saw no opposition to my proposals of last week, I went ahead
and created a wiki page over at the freedesktop.org wiki[1]. For every
talk proposal, it contains the name(s) of the proposer(s), a
single-sentence description, and a link into the archives of this
mailinglist to the mail that contains the details.

If I missed anyone, please feel free to add to the list. There were some
requests to coordinate efforts with some other devrooms, but I didn't
put those on that list -- I didn't think it would be useful. There are
also some talks on the list of which I'm not 100% sure I'd accept if it
were all up to me, but I don't think a coordinator's job is to also be a
paper committee (or what do you call that) -- at least not this soon in
the process, certainly.

I've also added to that page a list of coordinators. Since only two
people explicitly said they would want to take on that role for their
distribution (me for Debian, and Petteri Räty for Gentoo), the other
names there are tentative until the people involved confirm.

With that out of the way,

By my count, we've now got 9 talk proposals. That's, well, an
interesting start, but absolutely insufficient. I'd like to ask
coordinators (tentative or not ;-P) to please poke their respective
communities some more. I will do the same within Debian.
